Live Casino TV | Live Roulette TV History

The history of LiveRoulette TV started back in the year 2005 when it began its progression into the live roulette TV game show we see today. It all began with a company called Vegas24/7.
In late June they decided to test and see if live casino style games could be converted and played on UK television. At first the game was getting shown on Sky Digital 274 at 3-11pm, the game proved popular and was moved to the optimal TV times of 6-2pm, these new hours meant the show could be seen be even more people.
The following year of 2006 saw even more changes in this history of live roulette TV when the broadcasting channel number was changed from to 847 from its previous number 274. The internet also started to play a bigger part so the website was re-designed to allow online players to interact with the show by watching the game streaming online. September saw another change when broadcasting hours were extended thanks to its contract with Freeview Virgin 1 and sky bravo 2, players could now join in the fun between 2 and 4am. During this time the shows format slightly changed and filming concentrated more on the game instead of the presenters.

The show continued to work successfully all through 2007 with minor changes in the format and overall design taking place to tweek the interactive abilitys. During this year the program saw several changes to its on screen graphics and display format. The main change of the year happened just before the new year of 2008, the show which was still owned by Vegas24/7 was taken over by NetPlayTV plc. This take over and rebranding happened sometime during December.

In 2008 everything started to fit into place and the game show and website saw a huge increase in players and profit. The digital sky live roulette channel numbers also changed once again, this time to sky channel 866. In May the main company producing the show also acquired the pitch roulette show which was a similar style program and gained their players. The auto-wheel was also introduced which allows players to bet 24/7 even when the main show is unavailable. During october liveroulette was rebranded as supercasino with a new website opening up.
